When my ex left in 2018 I had three kids under ten, a mortgage in Sacramento, and no system. I'm a logistics coordinator by day, so I eventually did what I do at work: treated the house like a small operation with a bad handoff problem.

Sessions with me are working sessions, not chats. Bring your bills, your school emails, your pile of unopened mail. We build your version of the weekly reset in 50 minutes, and the next week I check whether you actually ran it. I will ask. Every time.
