twelve years of ER night shifts, then I learned to carry a quota

$32/hour , set by Tyler Nguyen. Your first session with them is free.

I was an ER nurse in Sacramento for twelve years. Loved my patients, got hollowed out by the schedule, and in 2021, after a brutal stretch of COVID shifts, I hit a wall and knew I was done with bedside.

Everyone said nurses can't do sales. I sent 200 applications and got two callbacks. What finally worked was a 90-day plan I built for a medical device company's interview, uninvited. They hired me as an SDR at 34, making less than I did at the hospital.

Three years later I sell clinical software, and four people from my old unit have made the same switch with my playbook. It wasn't smooth. I bombed my first big demo so badly the prospect ended the call fifteen minutes early.

With me you get scripts, mock calls, and homework. Come ready to practice out loud.

More background

Cold: clinical-to-sales career switches, SDR and AE interviewing, building a 30-60-90 plan that gets you hired without sales experience, translating nursing or allied health skills into sales language, discovery calls, demo prep, and surviving your first quarter on quota. I know medtech and health-tech sales specifically, SaaS generally.

Best for: nurses, techs, therapists, EMS folks who want out of bedside and into sales or customer success. Also new healthcare reps in their first year who are scared of their number.

Not for: experienced sales pros chasing VP roles. And I won't coach anyone into exaggerating clinical experience they don't have. I'm also not the guy for 'should I leave nursing' soul-searching. I'll assume you've decided, and we build from there.

Between sessions expect homework: recorded practice pitches, an application tracker, one mock call a week if you're interviewing. Pacific time, best after 4pm, and I block off the last three days of every quarter. You know why.
