Why matching by story beats matching by category
A directory can tell you someone is a career coach. It cannot tell you that they spent six years on warehouse night shifts before running two buildings, and that this is exactly the person for your promotion problem. On Noemic every coach is a first-person story plus everything they have chosen to share, and your assistant reads all of it against your real situation. No tags, no stars, no guessing.
Coaching works when the coach fits, and fit lives in the specifics. Reading is how you find specifics, and your assistant reads for free.
Coaching that continues between sessions
Sessions are browser video calls, priced by the minute at rates each coach sets, and many coaches offer the first session free. But the sessions are half of it: your coach can assign you exercises your assistant runs with you as a conversation, you can put real money behind commitments your coach witnesses, and quick check-in messages flow through your assistant without either of you opening another app.
The result is coaching at the cadence that actually changes behavior: frequent and light, instead of one expensive hour you forget by Friday.
The quality question, answered structurally
Every coach on Noemic works with their own AI assistant supervising: live suggestions during sessions grounded in an evidence-based playbook — active listening, motivational interviewing, structured accountability — and a private debrief after each one.
