Noemic gives you both: a real accountability partner your AI assistant finds by reading actual people's stories, and commitments with real stakes your partner witnesses — refunded when you follow through, forfeited when you do not.
Why AI alone did not fix your follow-through
Talking to an AI is free and consequence-free, which is exactly why commitments made to one do not stick. Behavior changes when quitting costs something: a person who will notice, and money on the line. Noemic adds precisely those two things to the AI you already use.
Your assistant stays in the loop as the connective tissue: it relays your partner's Tuesday-morning check-in, reminds you before a deadline, and reports how the week actually went. Nothing depends on you remembering to open an app.
How the stakes work
You commit to something specific with a deadline and put real money behind it. Follow through and every cent comes back. Fail and it is forfeited. Your partner sees the commitment and the stake, which turns a private intention into a social fact. Stakes are capped at $500 of active commitments per person, enforced by the server, so the mechanism stays a tool and never becomes a risk.
Partners set their own rates, sessions are priced by the minute, and many offer the first session free. A daily cadence of two-line check-ins with a short call each week typically costs less than one traditional coaching hour.
